Survival means to live through something. We've all survived something in our lives. As the end-of-the-unit project for Unit 2, I'd like you to share your experience as a survivor. Survival....I survived my four years at Shippensburg University. I went there when I was 18 years old not knowing anyone. I was scared and lonely and hated the first few months. Over time I made friends, got involved and became more comfortbale at my new home. Sometimes you think that you are never going to survive a situation, but things always get better with time. You have to give it a chance!!
I survived my Saturday weekend on my SAT. I was since 7:45am until almost 2:00pm in the school this past Saturday 27, 2007 having my SAT. I think this is a survival because is something that you need to have but you dont know if you are going to "survive" or not. for me i think i survived because it was simple to do most of the 10 parts that have the test.
i survival my life from the war in my country, by going to other west africa country. i was not going to school, have no time for my slf, don't know any of my relative.when i survival from all this enviroment in my country, my family and i started new life which lead we all to the united state. but am happy today i can read and write. i suvival by going to other part of west africa[nigeria]. that where i started going to school. their the migration help my family and i to the usa.which itank God today beacuse am goig to school, helping my family, and working hard to enter college, i pray i get what i want.this the summary of my life.
when i was 5 years old i got burned in my stomach and in my hand and i survive bcause i didn ot end up all burned and death
I suevived a car accident with my dad.Ii happen because a guy did not do his stop sign so he keept going and hit the side of my dads car.Me and my dad had our sit belts on so we did not got hurt.
yesterday i was in soccer game and i survived to get hurt. some guy kick my knee and start hurting that's why i survived in my soccer game . like emma, i survived taking the sats too.
i survive the pool in bethlehen last summer... because i didn't know how to swim and i didn't want to ask someone because i would look like a looser, so i start watching my brother and my friends and i learn from watchin them... then the second time we went i got into the pool without fear and i knew how to swim without even praticing,,, and thats how i survive the pool during the summer
Like Alex said, i survived something in the pool too. When i was 10 years old I went with my family to a hotel for a weekend the first day i got acquainted with the hotel and then i saw a big pool than look like a guitar but i din't know that it was deep so i was thinking to get in there the next day, the other day i wake up early to go to the pool be the first one in there so when the people told me that i can get inside i jump into the pool and then i started drowning right away beacuse i din't know how to swim and then a american person who was a tourist jump into the pool and saved my life. after that the trip was boried becuse my mom told me to never go to a pool againg so i had to stay in the room the next day and the half jus6t for that and they had fun beacuse they went to the beach after 2 hour later and i was watching cartoon network and nickelodeon those day.
I survived to a burned because my dad and I we went in a motorcycle that the had time ago, then when my dad went for the house with me in al motorcycle when already we were arriving the motorcycle veered and fell me in the leg then I burned a small part in the good leg was not so small but likewise hurt me horrible then the neighbor that was near it helped my dad to charge me to the furniture of the house to go to bed and later I bathed and despué my dad carried me where my uncle that is a doctor and he cured me and a special cream he put me and he gave me also some gauzes to put me in the injury and later I was to the house and even now I have the scar that was like when I had as five years Or six years of age.
i survived my morning before go to school i was since 7:58 i think , when i was walking to the school two little puppy fallow me to the school ,when i noticed i go back to my street i nock house by house ,to know who are the owner of these two puppy the bad think is the end i di n't know who are the owner of these two puppy, but live the two puppy in the house of two decents person , then i go to my school.
i survived on the air plane to move from my country to US. it was a terrible fly. that took me about 24 hours, i felt like dying because i am a very air sick person .
I am a survival....I survived theses two junior and senior year classes studing english if you think survive in the united states without learn english as your second language my friend let me tell you something you are taking the wrong way take. the right way to do it is just paying attention to your esol teacher and watch tv in english that's the way that I learning english do the same as me that survive
For me survive is like when you're in danger or when you're in a big problem that the only way to pass it is survive. Ex: When you are in a trip to Puerto Rico in a ship from Dominican Republic then the ship is sinking because there was a big rock, everybody is trying to save their lives, after all there was a man with a boat and he helped the people there, everybody were alive, so they survive to don't be underwater, dead.
one day i was on puerto rico and i was in a river with mi family in the summer and i was ridding horse and then i hit the i tree and i fall of the horse and i have to live with a ugly scar on my shin.
I remember me that also I survived to a robbery in my house when was small and a thief was put to the house by the window and I gave me gutter then I told my mommy that listened like a weird sound down and my low daddy to see that was and the thief had us aimed with a gun but later my pope hit him and he left running Of the house and he was forgot of his umbrella.
I what can recommend all the people to be able to survive to some thing it but important is to have a lot of patience and confidence in which can be achieved it..
IT WAS 11TH GRADE AND THEY WAS DOING A TEST THAT CALLS PPSAT AND I DIDNT EVEN STUDY SO THEN WHEN THE TEST CAME I WAS TRYING TO DO THE TEST AND PUT ANY ANSWERS IN THE TEST. SO THEN WHEN THE GRADES CAME I GOT A B AND THAT WAS WIERD SO IIM VERY HAPPY FOR THAT AND I SURVIVE THE TEST AND THE GRADUATION PROJECT.
i survive leaving my father
and moving with my mom to another house.this is a big problem bacause now my father went cry to my mom's house telling her that he is repenting, my mom don't want to go back to him because he did alot to her.
I survived from a soccer game,because we were playing vs the best team of the league.I score a goal
I survived on a river because a didn't now how to swim. By accident the river dragged me but my cousin was close so I grag her and then my father pulled us.
i survived a storm at purtorico whe wemt to my gramas house we whent to the basement
I survive my basket ball practise.
I was missed a lot of practise without say anything to my coach.
My coaches was upset and i was keep lying, and i said that i was working on my english homework even if he didn't have homework.
I didn't want to call them because they would to argued with me and say that i can do homework before practise.
But the coach didn't ask me anything so that was it.
whenn i was at dr ones my mom send me on a mototaxi to get money becuase my dad truck got messed up so she send me to get the money at my dad store my dad gave me the money and went back on the moto taxi we were going down the hill a kid on a bike got on our way we didnt want to hit him so we try to block by turning didnt work we fall on the motorcycle my leg got scratch my hands they were bad but was so scared the i didnt even think about it well we got up went to my house he left when i tell my mom wat happen afterwards my mom ask me for the money when i put my hand on my pockets my pocket was broken and i lost all the money
i survived my last school year passing esol class. tx to miss shive!!!
i was at the the river with my friends and i go into the water when the river grow up and the water get into my mouthi wait until the water go in one way and i could go out
I survive From a dog attack. My aunt
dog thought I was an stranger so he chased me but I lucky got away.
I would say that you should behave good. Also don't curse and do all your homework and you will success.
I also survived from a beach because my dad took me to the deep part like 8 feet down and I didn't kno how to swim. He took me in a floating boat and when we were there I fell And if he doesn't not go and get me I was going to die.
yo wat up is me the boy BigRob telling you one of my interesting stories l.O.l when i was livingn dr my friends use to go down the hill real fast on their bikes u know they were basicly proffesional next to me so im around and you know i see them doind it and im like i want to do it to i ask my friend for his bike he gives to me i was nerves i went down i made it i was real excited then i keep on doing it my dad calls me and tels me we going out later to the amusement park im like ok and he also told me stop with the bike the you know you not good at it and im like aight but you know i wasnt gonna listen and keep on doing it like a hour later "boooom" i fall down the bike scratch my hand arms all brused up went home my dad looks at me and tells me i told you to stop now your punish and you staying with your grandma and you aint going to the amusement park the prety much hurt me more than the fall "OUCH" HAHAHAHAH
i survive been in the airplane and not die.And i survive my crazy boyfriend.Andi survive not been retarded like my father.And i also survive health class
last year i survival from mrs. lockner's class geting all As.but now i have to survival to ms. shive is class and i will try to do it. ok
